The following is an introduction to magnesium chloride brine flakes (Seawite magnesium chloride)from our Yuze Magnesium Chloride Manufacturer, including its packaging, applications and other relevant information.
1.Seawite magnesium chloride(Magnesium Chloride Brine Flakes) hexahydrate is defined by its raw material and production process. It is first obtained from seawater via solar drying to meet specific parameter standards, then processed in production equipment to form magnesium chloride hexahydrate. Our factory refers to this product as seawater magnesium chloride hexahydrate.
The appearance of this product is shown in the picture below, which represents its standard color. Some products appear white due to bleaching treatment. This seawater-based magnesium chloride is produced using a traditional process.
Seawater magnesium chloride hexahydrate:It is mostly irregular flake-shaped and relatively thick. Powder and granular forms are available on a custom order basis.During testing, its aqueous solution appears slightly yellow but contains fewer impurities. It is different from magnesium chloride hexahydrate produced by the acid process or from lake brine.
2.Industrial magnesium chloride complies with the standard QB/T 2605-2003 Industrial Magnesium Chloride, which specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of industrial magnesium chloride. It applies to industrial magnesium chloride produced by processing salt mother liquor or natural magnesium chloride as raw materials.
3.Loading Packing:25kg/bag. Loading Quantity:25mt per 20'FCL

4. Magnesium Chloride Usage
1. Metallurgical Industry
It is used as an adhesive for manufacturing refractory materials and furnace arms, as well as a raw material for producing secondary flux and smelting metallic magnesium.
2. Chemical Industry
It is mainly used in the production of various magnesium salts, such as magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, and magnesium carbonate. It is also used as a fixing agent for firecrackers and a raw material for antifreeze.
3. Building Materials
When mixed with magnesia (MgO), it forms hard and corrosion-resistant magnesia oxychloride cement, which can be used to produce artificial marble, magnesia tiles, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fireproof boards, greenhouse brackets, partition panels, magnesia manhole covers, bathtubs, door and window frames, and prefabricated houses.
4. Mechanical Industry
In daily applications, magnesia oxychloride cement (Lingkutu) can be used to make mechanical packaging boxes, triangular cushion edges, furniture, etc. It is an excellent material for "replacing non-renewable materials with soil-based materials".
5. Food Industry
Tofu made with brine (magnesium chloride aqueous solution) is tender and delicious compared to that made with gypsum. It is also used as an additive in some food products.
6. Transportation Industry
It is used as a road deicing and snow-melting agent, featuring fast deicing speed, low corrosion to vehicles, and better effectiveness than sodium chloride.
7. Pharmaceutical Industry
"Brine extract" made from magnesium chloride can be used for medicinal purposes.
8. Agricultural Industry
It can be used as magnesium fertilizer, potassium-magnesium fertilizer, and cotton defoliant.
9. Fire Protection
It is used in the production of fire-resistant and flame-retardant materials. Soaking wood and boards in brine (under heating and pressure) can significantly improve their flame retardancy, reduce wood smoke, and it is also used as a filler for fireproof materials.
