Hexahydrate Magnesium Chloride

46% Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate Flakes FeedGrade for Livestock & Aquaculture

46% Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate Flakes FeedGrade for Livestock & Aquaculture

46% magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes are a widelyused additive in animal husbandry. Manufactured with lowtemperature crystallization and refining technology, these 46% magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes maintain a stable effective magnesium chloride content of ≥46%. They appear as uniform white crystalline flakes with low dust generation, fast dissolution rate and reliable magnesiumsupplementing performance.

Key specification parameters of our 46% magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes from Yuze magnesium chloride manufacturing factory:

· Magnesium chloride hexahydrate content: ≥46%

· Elemental magnesium content: ≥11.6%

· Waterinsoluble matter: ≤0.1%

· Heavy metals including lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury: strictly compliant with feedgrade safety standards with controlled limits

· Product appearance: odorless white crystalline flakes, low dust tendency, good anticaking property and easy storage

· Application scenarios: ruminant farming for cattle and sheep, livestock and poultry feed addition, magnesium supplementation for aquaculture

Core Functions of FeedGrade Magnesium Chloride in Farming

Our feedgrade magnesium chloride from Yuze magnesium chloride manufacturing factory is specially developed for the livestock industry. It differs from industrialgrade magnesium chloride mainly in performance indicators. It is primarily applied in cattle and sheep farming. Cattle and sheep store very little magnesium in their bodies and require daily continuous magnesium supplementation. When grazing on young lowmagnesium grass in spring or suffering hightemperature heat stress in summer, they are highly susceptible to hypomagnesemia, convulsions and other disorders.

Many of our customers are ranchers with freerange cattle and sheep. The magnesium content in pasture grass often fails to meet animal nutritional requirements. Therefore, the product can be sprayed onto pasture. After being absorbed by grass and vegetation, magnesium is ingested by cattle and sheep for nutrient uptake.

Functions of Magnesium Chloride in Aquaculture

Our 46% magnesium chloride hexahydrate flakes from the magnesium chloride manufacturing factory are also suitable for shrimp, crab, shellfish, marine fish and brackishwater aquaculture.

Effects on Aquatic Water Environment

1. Maintain waterbody ion balance and stabilize total hardness Magnesium is a key component of water hardness and works synergistically with calcium, potassium and sodium. Insufficient magnesium ions weaken the buffering capacity of water and cause sharp pH fluctuations. Supplementing magnesium chloride stabilizes total water hardness and osmotic pressure, reduces stress on aquatic organisms and improves overall water stability. This magnesium deficiency issue is especially prominent in desalinated shrimpcrab ponds, inland salinealkali ponds and lowsalinity aquaculture ponds.

2. Support normal algal growth and stabilize water color Magnesium forms the core of chlorophyll. Appropriate magnesium ion levels in water benefit the reproduction of beneficial algae and maintain desirable water color. Magnesium deficiency inhibits algal growth, resulting in difficult fertilization, unbalanced algal communities and frequent algal collapse.

Key Physiological Functions for Crustaceans such as Shrimp and Crab (Primary Application)

Support molting and carapace calcification and hardening After each molting cycle, shrimp and crab need to absorb both magnesium and calcium to harden new shells. Magnesium participates in the calcification process of chitin in crustacean shells. Magnesium deficiency leads to failed molting, soft shells, thin carapaces, high mortality during molting, rough exoskeletons and slow growth. Application of aquaculturegrade magnesium chloride
